Civil Rights
I’ve always been drawn to the places where legal systems meet. I began my career in South Africa, practicing in civil and commercial matters before crossing continents to pursue my LL.M. in the United States. While in the U.S., I served as a judicial extern and witnessed how precision and principle converge to shape outcomes that reach far beyond the courtroom.
Born into a generation still shaped by the legacy of apartheid, I carry with me the perspective of where resilience meets reform. I see law as both a craft and a calling—one that demands clarity, strategy, and conviction. I’m inspired by the way ideas can bridge continents and how collaboration can turn complexity into progress. I bring with me the rhythm of two worlds—one shaped by the rigor of South African courts and the other by the dynamism of American justice.
At the foundation of my work is intent: to think critically, act decisively, and pursue excellence with discipline and perspective. It’s a philosophy rooted in resilience, carried from Johannesburg to New York, and reflected in every piece of work I put my name to.
