Daniel Hallak is a litigator with a wide range of experience in commercial and tort litigation in state, federal and appellate courts and arbitrations. Daniel has represented clients in high-end/high-profile civil RICO litigation, healthcare litigation, business disputes and business torts, collections, and commercial real estate litigation. Daniel also handles a diverse set of transactional matters, including the drafting of agreements, licenses, assignments and other documents for corporate clients.

Daniel is a former Assistant New York State Attorney General in its Long Island office. During his time with the AG’s office, Daniel assisted the Medicaid Fraud Unit in investigations and litigation. He served as first-chair and assisted at trials, developed case strategy, took and defended depositions, conducted mediations, negotiated settlements, drafted pleadings, argued motions, and corresponded with clients, state agencies and opposing counsel.

Daniel is a guest lecturer at Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. He also serves as Village Prosecutor of the Incorporated Village of Huntington Bay, prosecuting violations of the Village Code and Emergency Removal Proceedings. Additionally, he is a mentor at Westbury Middle School through the Nassau County Bar Association, where he provides support and guidance for young students.
