Rupp Pfalzgraf LLC is seeking a skilled Trust & Estates Attorney with 6-10 years of experience to join our growing Trust & Estates practice. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership on sophisticated estate planning and administration matters while contributing to a well-established and expanding practice.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and implementation of comprehensive estate plans, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives.
• Support the design and drafting of various trust structures, including revocable, irrevocable, and supplemental needs trusts.
• Handle estate and trust administration matters, including probate proceedings, fiduciary accountings, and distributions.
• Work with senior attorneys on business succession planning strategies for closely held businesses.
• Assist in advising clients on estate and gift tax planning considerations.
• Work with a diverse client base, including individuals, families, business owners, and high-net-worth clients on a range of estate planning needs.
• Participate in client meetings and maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas to support integrated client solutions.
• Assist, as needed, with trust and estate-related disputes or litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research and stay current on developments in trust and estates law.
• Support senior attorneys in managing client matters efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.
• 6-10 years of experience in Trust & Estates law, including estate planning and administration.
• Strong drafting and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Salary Range:

$130,000 – $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus opportunities for performance-based bonuses.
