Sean Costello
Of Counsel
Business Litigation
Municipal and Public Entity Law
I am practical and pragmatic, with years of experience representing public entity clients and advising elected and appointed officials. Having walked that path as a partner with my clients, I understand the pressures and considerations associated with a matter involving a public entity. Nuance and discretion are key, and a dry legal opinion or an off-the-shelf defense may not meet my clients’ needs.
My limited private practice of law involves both counsel on routine matters and handling complex situations. I represent my clients in state and federal court, and am proficient in handling, investigating, and where appropriate, litigating Section 1983 Civil Rights claims, Union grievances, PERB charges, discrimination claims, and of course, negligence, trespass, nuisance, and other torts.
Whether I’m representing a business or an individual, I am very conscious of the costs that are associated with litigation. In all cases, big or small, I leverage my experience effectively and efficiently to resolve disputes.
