Who is Jesse as an attorney?
Jesse is an associate in our insurance defense practice group. He primarily handles premises liability cases.
As an attorney, Jesse is someone who likes to help people meet their goals. He enjoys the combination of the intellectual stimulation of the job, and problem-solving. But what he likes most about being a lawyer is the ability to give his clients peace of mind as they go through difficult times in their lives.
Why did Jesse become an attorney?
Jesse isn’t sure if he actually made a choice to become a lawyer. Jesse’s dad was an attorney so he was familiar with the field. He was in the second semester of his senior year in college and needed a plan. Law school seemed like the best next step. The career seemed like a good fit because it would give Jesse a chance to help people while earning a steady income and being intellectually stimulated.
What is Jesse’s most memorable case?
Jesse has many memorable cases but one that stands out was when he helped a fellow attorney get a few old sportscars back after he had loaned them to someone. A few of the cars predated the NYS laws regarding vehicle titles so Jesse had to find creative ways to prove ownership.
Who is Jesse outside of work?
Outside of work Jesse enjoys spending time with his friends and family. He is a huge fan of the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, and the University of Notre Dame. Jesse is a drummer so he enjoys playing music and attending live shows. He is a fan of simple things like spending time outside, reading a good book, or watching a movie.
What is Jesse’s legal tip?
Jesse has a few legal tips for you.
1. Document everything.
2. Don’t wait on deadlines. They can sneak up on you if you procrastinate.
3. Try to be a nice person. Generally, the legal process can be a lot less challenging if you are nice to people.
