Attorney Spotlight: Adam Brasky
Who is Adam as a lawyer?
Adam Brasky is an associate attorney in our banking and creditors’ rights practice group. Adam went to the University at Buffalo School of Law. While in law school Adam was working as a law clerk at a small first-party insurance defense firm. Adam was admitted to the bar in 2015 and eventually started working at Rupp Baase in our first-party insurance defense practice group. Shortly after he moved into our banking and creditors’ rights group where he has been since.
Why did Adam become an attorney?
Adam felt like being a lawyer suited his skill set well. In school, Adam was always good at reading, writing, and research. In the real world, Adam feels he is good at communicating. These are all qualities you need as an attorney.
What is Adam’s most memorable case?
Adam does not have one most memorable case. However, his most memorable cases are ones where he gets a bill paid for a small business. An uncollected debt can destroy a small business so he loves getting them their money.
Who is Adam outside of work?
Adam is really into sports. His father was a coach growing up so baseball, basketball, and football have always been a big part of his life. When Adam was younger he really enjoyed playing sports, but nowadays he has shifted into coaching. Adam coaches varsity basketball and youth basketball. He enjoys going to sporting events and spending time with family and friends. Now that, according to Adam, he is an “old man” he really enjoys cycling. Adam is on the board of Healthy Buffalo, a non-profit focused on using recreational sports to promote health & wellness.
