Attorney Spotlight: Adam Brasky
This week’s attorney spotlight is Adam Brasky, a partner in our Banking & Creditors’ Rights group. He has been practicing law for just under 10 years.
Why did Adam choose to work at Rupp Pfalzgraf?
Adam chose Rupp Pfalzgraf because of the people. He says we have a great group of attorneys who are also down to earth people, and that only makes us stronger when working together on cases.
Within his practice, what type of work does Adam find most rewarding?
Adam works with clients that range all the way from regional banks to credit unions to large corporations, but the most rewarding part of his job is helping a small business collect on an unpaid purchase order, unpaid invoice, or whatever the case may be. Unpaid invoices can be a big issue for small businesses, so it’s really rewarding when he can help them collect and keep their business moving forward.
What is a fun fact about Adam that people may be surprised to learn?
Some people might be surprised to learn that Adam played four years of college basketball at King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, so shout out to all the King’s Monarchs out there!
What is Adam’s best legal tip?
Adam’s best legal tip is that it’s always worth giving a call to your attorney to determine whether or not a case is worth pursuing. In the area of collections, a lot of clients understandably are concerned about throwing good money after bad, but you’re not going to know if your case is worth pursuing unless you call your attorney, spend that 10-15 minutes, give them the facts, and let them advise you on whether or not the matter is something you should pursue.
