Whipstitch Capital Advises Peeled Snacks and Redd on Private Placements
BURLINGTON, MA – May 16, 2017. Peeled Snacks, maker of organic fruit and veggie snacks and a certified B Corporation, closed a private placement investment from Seurat Capital. The brand expects to utilize the resources of this transaction to execute on strategic initiatives to further develop its snack portfolio. “Seurat brings to Peeled Snacks a wealth of insights and industry leadership that makes me more excited than ever about our mission. As part of the transaction, Jill Brant, Managing Director at Seurat Capital will join the Peeled Snacks Board of Directors. “Peeled Snacks has built an impressive leading-edge brand in the growing fruit and vegetable-based snacking space. Their product lines deliver uncompromising, crave-worthy taste and real plant-based nutrition density. The company was also introduced to Dwight Capital by Whipstitch during the process and closed on a debt financing with Dwight, a leader in providing lines of credit and other working capital solutions to early and growth stage businesses.
Over the past year, Peeled Snacks expanded its Peas Please product line with the launch of new flavors and continued to expand its footprint in the conventional grocery channel.
