Matt Miller presents about New York’s Paid Family Leave Act

On Wednesday, June 14th 2017, Rupp Baase Pfalzgraf Cunningham partner attorney Matt Miller spoke to more than 130 human resource professionals and members of the New York Job Service Employer Committee through the New York State Department of Labor about New York’s new Paid Family Leave Act.  This act is one of the first of its kind nationwide and takes effect January 1, 2018. The act will allow for employees to spend more time caring for their families without the fear of being without pay. It is so important to understand what this act means for your business and your employees.

Matt Miller is the leader of our labor and employment practice group leader. He has been practicing in the area for many years. Matt’s close relationships with business owners and human resource professionals give him great insight into how labor laws affect the businesses.
