Our property-litigation practice group seeks an associate with 0-3 years of experience to practice in our Buffalo office in the area of property litigation, subrogation, and antitrust matters. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent research and writing skills, and must have a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
Candidate should (1) have a strong work ethic; (2) be well organized; (3) demonstrate a willingness to litigate; (4) be a good communicator; and (5) possess an interest in investigating and litigating arson and other fraudulent insurance claims.
Candidate should be familiar with all phases of discovery, and also will be exposed to preparing dispositive motions, conducting examinations under oath and depositions, and conducting extensive document review in sophisticated commercial litigation.
