I have always been interested in people. From my childhood love of reading to my time in college as an American Studies major focusing in cultural studies and a Law & Society minor, I have always been fascinated by the stories people tell about their lives that reveal what is important to them. A lifelong resident of New York State, this curiosity in different customs and traditions led me to going to law school in New Orleans. There, as a Managing Editor on the Tulane Journal of Technology & Intellectual Property, I wrote and published a comment about how people express themselves through social media by sharing ideas in community. Now that I have made my way back to my hometown of Buffalo and spent some time doing insurance defense litigation, I find myself called to take a more personal approach to practicing law. Through estate administration, I am dedicated to helping individuals honor their loved ones’ final wishes and to assisting families through a difficult transition. To describe my perspective and to quote one of my favorite films, “Whatever else anything is, it ought to begin by being personal.”
