Vision and creativity—it’s what guides my practice. Complex development projects, including brownfield redevelopment, can take years to come to fruition, so it’s important to have a clear vision for the property and the client’s needs that drive the legal strategy. In my practice, I’m a problem solver and facilitator. I help my clients overcome the challenges they’re facing and achieve their ultimate goals. I’ve represented clients in land use cases before zoning boards across New York State, in federal and state courts, and before the N.Y.S. Department of Environmental Conservation, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the U.S. and N.Y.S. Departments of Transportation, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, among others. I also have extensive environmental litigation experience in federal and state courts as well as state and local agencies. If a client is subjected to an enforcement action, I am a vigorous advocate, negotiating consent orders, obtaining necessary permits, responding to enforcement proceedings, and defending citizens’ suits fighting to protect my clients’ short- and long-term interests.
