Eric Riter

After a few years as a paralegal, law student, and corporate lawyer in New York City, Eric returned to his roots in Western New York. He carries a passion for developing meaningful relationships with those he encounters into every aspect of his life. His practice of law is no exception. Eric counsels mid-size and large companies on the full range of corporate matters they face day to day - from governance and commercial contracts to leasing and beyond - with a particular focus on manufacturing and creative industries like advertising and media. He also leads the firm’s trademark practice, guiding clients through everything from new filings and USPTO office actions to strategic counseling on protecting and managing their brands. Separately, he advises clients on business formation and mergers and acquisitions across a broad range of industries and transaction types.
