About Me
Jill Allen is a litigation partner with a dynamic practice representing both plaintiffs and defendants in civil matters involving insurance defense and personal injury. Drawing on experience from both sides of the docket, she brings a balanced, strategic perspective to every case – anticipating opposing arguments, identifying opportunities early, and positioning clients for the best possible outcomes.
Jill approaches the practice of law with a focus on practicality and results. She understands that for some clients, litigation can be deeply personal and overwhelming and for others, it is a matter of managing risk and controlling costs. She tailors her approach, accordingly, providing clear guidance, proactive communication, and efficient case handling. Throughout her career, Jill has successfully handled cases from initial investigation through trial and has achieved favorable outcomes through motion practice, negotiation, and alternative dispute resolution. She is particularly valued for her ability to evaluate cases early, develop practical litigation strategies, and adapt quickly as matters evolve. She has been an Upstate New York Super Lawyers, Rising Stars, from 2023-2025, and Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America, 2026.
Outside the office, Jill enjoys spending time with her husband, Scott, and son, JD. She is also a certified Baptiste Yoga Instructor and Lagree Instructor. She values maintaining a strong work-life balance and brings that same grounded, thoughtful perspective to her work with clients and colleagues.
