The U.S. Small Business Administration has announced that May 3rd will be the date the award portal opens for the restaurant revitalization fund. This $28.6 billion program is meant to give new life to restaurants that have struggled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The shutdown affected most businesses across the country but the restaurant industry was one of the hardest hit. Restaurant owners are encouraged to apply for these funds. You may register ahead of the portal opening, starting April 30. The SBA restaurant revitalization fund portal will remain open until all of the $28.6 billion in funds are exhausted.
