Who is Jamie Batt as a lawyer?
Jamie is a partner in our business law practice group. She specializes in business succession planning. Jamie when to Duquesne University for her bachelors in history then received her MBA and JD from The University at Buffalo. Jamie has been practicing law for the past 16 years and one of her favorite things about business law is the relationships she develops with her clients.
Why did Jamie become a lawyer?
Jamie knew she wanted to be a lawyer as a child. It was always her dream. As a child Jamie loved to argue and thought she would be a litigator however she ended up in a segment of law that requires more collaboration than arguing.
Who is Jamie outside of work?
Outside of work Jamie is a wife and a mother. She enjoys spending time outdoors running, golfing and playing tennis. Jamie loved to read and studied medieval history in college. She enjoys colorful clothes and statement shoes, California wines and bourbon. Jamie also enjoys entertaining. A fun fact about Jamie is that she has run a marathon.
